Walkin' Roll Activities League, Inc is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization
The Walkin’ Roll Activities League, Inc. supports and nurtures individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages by providing team building opportunities through T-Ball, swimming, dancing, game nights and other group activities. The focus of our league is to build self-esteem and confidence in individual performance in a nurturing atmosphere. Organized team sports and activities will provide opportunities for participation. Parental involvement is the key to our success. The Walkin’ Roll Activities League, Inc., a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, is dedicated to ensure that all players be respected and their skills enhanced. But most of all, is that everyone has fun!
Walkin’ Roll Hall of Fame
Matthew Thornburg and Matthew Lipford
Matthew Thornburg and Matthew Lipford played in the first ever Walkin’ Roll Allstar game back in 1994 and have not missed an Allstar game yet. In 2015, the two Matthew’s were the first players ever to be inducted into the Walkin’ Roll Hall of Fame.
Joseph Self was the first player to receive the Brett Workman “I AM” Award in 2015.
Mandy Davis was awarded the 2016 Brett Workman “I AM” Award.
Kevin Tooley has been inducted into the Walkin’ Roll Hall of Fame. Way back in 1994, Kevin Tooley was the person that named our league the Walkin’ Roll Activities League. He says that he come up with the name because some of us Walk and some of us Roll! Kevin Tooley is still speaking out about important causes, so much that he started a business to continue doing what he loves to do…Speak!
