T-ball has begun and we are off to a great start! While the turnout was lower than expected for the first day, we did see alot of new faces and that is encouraging.

This is Walkin' Roll Activities League's 15th year. Its hard to believe that this unique organization has been going strong for 15 years. I am proud to say that this is my 8th t-ball season as a volunteer. We welcome volunteers, so if this sounds like something you would be interested in, send us an email and as you how you can help!

We have received our new brochures. Unlike last time we ordered brochures, we have enough brochures for everyone to take some home. We encourage you to take them to your doctor's offices, to your churches and give them out to friends and families.

We have a new website this year that is sure to have the information you need when you need it. If there is information that you think we need on the site and can't find it, please send me an email.

We have a new phone number (828-228-0616) to keep you informed. We will be using twitter more as the season goes on to keep you connected. If you have a cell phone that text message enabled and would like to receive text messages regarding Walkin' Roll events, you need to sign up for a twitter.com account and register your device (cell phone). Then choose to follow the user named walkinroll.

We have recently setup a Walkin' Roll Facebook.com page so that we may be able to reach out to our friends and share information about our unique organization in our area.
